Anime lovers enjoy new anime every season. However, the studios that create them are understaffed.

Consequently, it often leads to excessive overtime in order to meet deadlines. This led to a veteran animator’s suspected cause of death, overworking or “karoushi” in Japanese. Stress-induced heart attacks and stroke may cause such medical condition.

As a veteran animator, Kazunori Mizuno worked for various hit anime series. This includes “Naruto”, “Bleach” and “Yu Yu Hakusho”. According to the reports, he just took a nap when he died in his sleep.

Thus, the people in the anime industry must have improved working conditions.

It seems that we may expect new episodes to come out often unlike in the past.
