White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer denies CNN report claims that according to the FBI, U.S. President Donald Trump’s associates were involved with the Russians to undermine Hilary Clinton’s campaign.

According to Spicer,

“Let’s actually look at what CNN reported: They reported that anonymous U.S. officials have told them that information indicates that [associates] of the campaign and suspected operatives coordinated, which they admit is not conclusive of anything bordering on collusion.”

There is no publicly available evidence that would suggest that Trump’s associates worked with Russian operatives in order to damage Clinton’s bid.

On the other hand, CNN still stands with their claim as Representative Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee stated that there is more than circumstantial evidence of the conspiracy. However, the representative did not provide any specifics to the allegations.
