Golden State Warriors signed Kevin Durant to contest for their second NBA title. Now, with the season down to its stretch before the playoffs, Durant is out at least for three weeks more with an injury.

Durant says this before Golden State’s third loss in five games:

I didn’t feel like an NBA player this last week.

Warriors, the Western Conference’s No. 1 playoff seed for now, struggles to fend off San Antonio Spurs who are now just by an inch behind them.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said:

We are in a tough spot in the schedule and with Kevin Durant’s injury. Everybody goes through this at some point in the season. You just make your way through, and let everybody else freak out and panic.
